So, I have the 40mm diver kit with the smokey saphire crystal face. And, I follow the instructions where it says to line up the holes on the dial with the holes on the movement. But, here’s the wild part: Those holes line up with the plastic movement holder below and some holes on it and not the actual watch movement main plate. I mean, I don’t see a way this works differently The face screws HAVE to line up with the main plate.
As an aside, is this grey movement holder truly neccessary? I have movement holders already
