I just put together my GMT. Everything went great. Hands are on perfect.

I was trying to adjust the time backwards and the crown head fell off. Initially I thought a broke the crown post, but I didn’t. I put it back in and screwed it down and everything works.

Is this normal? Should I put some lock tight on it to keep it from backing off?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Loctite would be the way to go. afaik that’s how watchmakers do it too. just get the right loctite for the job.
