I mounted my first second hand this morning using the DIY assisting tool. I had trouble at first with the top thin semi circles would move out of place as I was trying to place the second hand. I “glued” them down with a small dap of putty at the edge of the cup. This was they stayed in place while I positioned the second hand. I wish I could add a picture.

Great idea! I had the same experience with those semi-circles moving when I tried to press down on the second hand. I kept trying and trying until eventually, I got the second hand onto the pin. Your idea to use a little bit of the putty (Radico) to hold those semi-circles in place would have save a lot of time. I’ll definitely use your idea for my next build.
