I mounted my first second hand this morning using the DIY assisting tool. I had trouble at first with the top thin semi circles would move out of place as I was trying to place the second hand. I “glued” them down with a small dap of putty at the edge of the cup. This was they stayed in place while I positioned the second hand. I wish I could add a picture.
Great tool, this Second Hand Tool.
