F01 Pilot kit - Miyota 8315 jumping ahead 3-5 mins

HI All,

I received and assembled the F01 Pilot kit last week. I set the watch and the time it keeps was pretty accurate. a few days ago i noticed it was roughly 5 mins fast, which was odd, and reset it and for a couple of days it was spot on. Today I saw that its now 3 mins fast. has anyone seen this behavior before? could it be an assembly issue? Anything else that I can work to resolve it. It seems not to be a gradual shift, as i have been checking the time on it against digital sources, and doesn’t seems to happen over a short period of time, where its now fast by several mins.

Sounds like the watch got magnetized, which is a common occurrence. For more info:

Thanks for the tip. Got a demagnetizer, and so far its holding better time. appreciate the guidance.
