Is the winder auto or manual?

Hello,

I am new to automatic watches, wondering if the movement (TMI NH72 or Miyota 8N24) has the auto winding function that the watch can be powered by just shaking it?

Sorry for a newbie question but I just want to be sure I do not need to manual wind the crown every now and then.

Both movements are automatic. That means they can be wound via shaking.
