I just received my kit and started the video. First my pro tool kit looks different than the kit in the video, which is fine but unnerving for someone doing this the first time. Then the first step is to remove the leather mat that can serve as a work space to protect the watch components. I’m unable to locate this in my kit- testing through every later and nook and cranny, but no leather mat. Does this version of the pro kit not come with a mat? Again unnerving and worrisome for how much I might be missing and how different the experience will be from the video.

I also didn’t get a mat when I ordered the pro kit. Other items missing included two pieces of suede for cleaning. Instead I received two black cloths, I assume those replace the two suede pieces.
Disappointed with the lack of pro kit explanation. It should have included a QR code to walk us through the tools, and maybe mention when each can be used for the steps. For example, when installing the hour hand the pro kit doesn’t have a double sided hand installer. There appear to be two tools, one with a red ring & one with a green ring, but I was concerned on using the wrong size. I went with the larger tool for the hour hand installation.
There’s a circular puck in the pro kit that’s a little larger than the diameter of a tennis ball. I believe that replaces the leather mat. It has a mushy side and a sticky side.
I watched a later assembly video and noticed this was being used sticky side down when inserting the movement into the case.
