I have the Flieger kit. Ive successfully got the movement in the holder and dial on but I can’t get my date wheel to turn ? I have the stem pulled all the way out to the hand adjustment, and i keep turning but the date wheel doesnt move ?
Does the date change when you turn the crown in the middle position?

Yes when i rotate it - it changes
Just summing up…
- Crown in the middle position, date changes
- Crown in the outer position, the hands circle the entire watch face 3+ times and the date does not change
If that’s the case, I suspect the movement has a problem. If you have the tools, you can try to remove and reinstall the date wheel. That isn’t super hard. Otherwise I would look into replacing it. That it engages with one and not the other is concerning.
