Just put together my watch and when i try to set the date eg pull the pin out one click the date doesn’t move like it’s not engaging. I can pull the pin all the way out to change time and that works fine and the date changes after 24 hours period… can someone help
Perhaps you’re turning the crown in a wrong direction? It sets date in one direction and does nothing in another direction. Forgot which is which though

I would dismantle the hands and dial to see the front of the movement, where you can observe the quick change date mechanism. It’s made of a few wheels right next to the crown. It is possible that one of them is disengaged or has a broken tooth.
Or simply something is lodged between the bottom of the dial and the movement, stopping the quick change mechanism
