Hi I’ve just build the Kit sucesfully last week. I’m happy with the result. However I was wondering about the GMT function and how to set it up correctly.
My watch looks like this, a classic diver bezel ring.
So the GMT function is not very useful. Anyone else had this problem?

Looks to me like they have supplied the wrong bezel for a GMT. not very useful as it is.
You could also get a chapter ring with 24hour markings then you could use both GMT and dive functions.
Personally I would contact DIY and get them to send the right bezel.

I just saw your post and had to chime in. I had a similar issue with a fake gmt I bought once, and the bezel they sent was totally off. Honestly, I agree with you – if it’s supposed to be a GMT bezel, it needs to actually function as one, or what’s the point? I ended up getting in touch with the seller, and they were pretty good about sending me the correct part.
How did you manage to get them to send you the right part? I’ve been trying to connect with a human for over a month as a part was missing from my kit. Any tips ?
